On 08-18-15 at approximately 9:30 am, officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart located at 5131 Greenbriar in reference to a theft of merchandise in progress. The suspect Nathan Daniel Wilson (7-30-90) was detained by officers and loss prevention employees as he left the business. Wilson ran around inside attempting to exit the store at multiple doors but was unsuccessful as they were blocked by employees. A taser was deployed but was unsuccessful. While trying to get away, Wilson assaulted a Wal-Mart employee causing minor injuries. Wilson was cornered by police and employees as he attempted to hide in a produce cooler inside the store. After briefly resisting arrest, Wilson was taken into custody. Wilson is charged with Robbery, Resisting arrest and Evading arrest/detention.
