Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

On August 21st, at approximately 11:50 am, an officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department stopped a blue in color Hyundai in the 1000 blk of Denver for failing to signal a turn.  The officer made contact with the female driver, identified as Taunya Marie Poage. The traffic stop investigation revealed that Poage had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.  She was placed under arrest at the scene.   Consent was given to search the vehicle.  During the search, the  officer located drug paraphernalia in the backseat area of the vehicle, along with Methamphetamine and approximately 8 grams of pills.  Terry Jones and Sean Robinette, both passengers in the vehicle, were also placed under arrest.  All three subjects were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Dangerous Drug since the items were within the reach of all the occupants of the vehicle.
