WFPD Arrest Felon with Firearm

On January 9th at approximately 12:30 am Officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were patrolling the 5500 block of Professional Drive.  Officers observed a male subject walk towards a parked vehicle and get into the front passenger seat.  Officers immediately recognized the subject to be 26 year old Michael Ledon Lee and knew him to have several warrants for his arrest.

Contact was made with Lee at the vehicle and he was arrested for the outstanding warrants.  During the search of Lee, incident to arrest, a handgun was found inside his front coat pocket.  A baggie containing a green leafy substance was also found in his front right coat pocket.  The substance field tested positive for marijuana and weighed 3.24 grams.

Lee was arrested and transported to the Wichita County jail without incident where he was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Possession of Marijuana, Parole Violation, Assault (Warrant), Violation of Court Order: Engaging  in Organized Criminal Activity.
