Kentea Luckey – 23
On 07-10-17, at approx 1142 hrs, Officers were flagged down in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Greenbriar in reference to children being left alone in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and found it to be unlocked and running with 4 small children, all under the age of 6, inside without supervision. Officers could not feel any cool air coming from the a/c and one of the children was sweating. Investigation revealed that 23 year old Kentea Luckey was responsible for the children and he had left them alone for approx 18 minutes while he was inside the store.
Luckey was arrested for 4 counts of Abandoning or Endangering a Child and transported to jail. Luckey was also found to have 4 arrest warrants.
