The WFPD worked together with officers from the Euless Police Department in apprehending a capital murder suspect, Pedro Angel Rodriguez, in Wichita Falls on 02-25-21. Rodriguez was wanted for a capital murder that occurred in Tarrant County. The Gang Task Force along with other officers in the WFPD Special Operations Unit located Rodriguez leaving a residence on the 2500 block of 9th street at about 5:00 pm yesterday. Rodriguez fled from the officers in a vehicle until he crashed at the intersection of Seymour Road and Lebanon. The officers arrested Rodriguez after a foot pursuit. As a result of the arrest for the Capital Murder warrant, Rodriguez was also charged with Evading Arrest/Detention, Possession of Marijuana under Two Ounces, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
